THE STORY

Desired Design was established in 2023 but its beginnings stretch back some 26 years when its founder, Kevin Allister Garcia began taking on design projects for family and friends.

 

Over the last two-and-a-half decades, Kevin has worked in different leadership roles in corporate Trinidad and Tobago, while pursuing his passions for Interior Design, Visual Art, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, earning him recognition as a 'multi-potentialite.'

 

His design work has been featured both nationally and internationally: In The Catholic News of Trinidad and Tobago , where he was a featured weekly contributor, on the website 'MENtions,' - an online platform that highlights the achievements of Afro-Trinidadian men under the age 45 and, 'The inTEArior podcast' - a podcast series hosted by fellow interior designer Darren G. Bart and multi-media journalist, Soyini Grey. 

 

Desired Design's ethos is to change the local interior design landscape by ensuring property owners are fully engaged in their design projects and that these are executed by skilled tradesmen who have been vetted for integrity, quality and competitive pricing . 

The organization's solid reputation for excellence is the reason it has delivered over $1 million TT dollars in projects to date.
